Why Starlings? Starlings are masters of the murmuration, thousands of birds moving as one, painting the sky in breathtaking waves. Look closely at their plumage in sunlight and you'll see a dazzling metallic sheen of green, blue, and purple, scattered with white speckles at certain times of year. They are far more extraordinary than most people realise.
