A celebration of the majestic spoonbill — one of Europe's most elegant wading birds. This detailed illustration is drawn and then hand-printed by artist Lauren Jaye Squires onto a Stanley/Stella tee, using water-based inks on 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. This particular spoonbill was spotted wading through the marshland on Texel Island in the Netherlands.

Why Spoonbills?
With their distinctive spatula-shaped bill and brilliant white plumage, spoonbills are a breathtaking sight as they sweep their bills through shallow water in search of food. Once rare in northern Europe, they are making a quiet comeback — a hopeful sign for wetland conservation.
